Gordon Verner faithfully served his country from 1961 until 1993, initially serving in the Navy and completing his service with the Air Force. Captain Verner flew as a navigator on the Sea Kings in the 406 Squadron in Shearwater, NS. Dad’s postings also included time in Comox, Winnipeg and Ottawa. Unfortunately, Dad passed away from cancer August 8, 2024. We all have fond memories of Dad’s time in the service, and the military virtues he learned while serving were passed on to his family. We proudly dedicate our run to Dad.
