Trooper Otto Victor Feist

At the age of 21, Trooper Otto Victor Feist enlisted in the Prince Albert and Battleford Volunteers (“PABV”) during WWII on November 21st, 1940.

On February 19th, 1942, Otto enlisted in the British Columbia Regiment. Otto was from a farming family in rural Saskatchewan.

He was reported missing and presumed killed in action on August 15th, 1944 during heavy shelling and mortar fire. His name is inscribed on the Bayeux Memorial in France.
