Petty Officer Gordon Lester Andrews served in the Royal Canadian Navy and the Canadian Armed Forces from September 1954 to June 1979.
During his service, he served at National Defence Headquarters in Ottawa and at Canadian Forces Base Esquimalt. He also served on the following ships: HMCS Jonquière, HMCS Beacon Hill, HMCS Athabaskan, HMCS Cape Breton and HMCS Saskatchewan.
