I want to nominate my dad. He was in the military for 20 years, and for 15 of those years he was in the special forces. He went on lots of tours, but he never really talks about it. Even though he doesn’t say much, I know he’s brave and he did really hard things to help keep people safe. I think he deserves to be recognized because he gave so much of his life to serving, and he’s my hero.
