I do this race every year in memory of my father, Lieutenant-Colonel Colin Copeland, who proudly served his country for 30 years.

I started doing the army run in 2014 as a way of honouring my parents, both who were RCAF. In 2017, I signed up for the Vimy challenge. My Dad became very ill the night before the race, so i ended up sitting with him all night, and didnt run the race. He passed away 3 days later. I continue to run this race every year, to honor my Dad and my Mom, and make up for not completing that run in 2017.
