Tony Lee was a proud member of the Canadian Armed Forces. Although he spent most of his career as a Canadian military engineer, Tony joined the Lord Strathcona’s Horse as a crewman in 1974. He switched to surveying two years later, while stationed in Calgary, and became a long-standing member of the Ottawa Mapping Service. Among his achievements, in 1987 Tony and his team of surveyors were commissioned to survey Canada’s most northerly point, Cape Columbia, on Ellesmere Island.
