The people are what make Canada Army Run so special,
and we love to hear and share your stories.
Our Remembrance Row and Dog Tag Stories features give you an opportunity to share stories and photographs. While you can submit your Dog Tag Stories throughout the year, Remembrance Row submissions are only open at a certain point before each year’s event and are only open to registered participants. Remembrance Row submissions will be open when submission forms appear below with instructions on how you can honour your loved ones.
Remembrance Row
2017 saw the launch of Remembrance Row, presented in partnership with The Royal Canadian Legion – a moving on-course feature that showcases photographs of veterans who have passed as a way to honour loved ones who served.

Dog Tag Stories
At Canada Army Run, we are honoured to share Canadian Army and military culture with you. A favourite way for us to do this is by awarding all finishers “dog tag” finisher medals, which closely resemble the identification tags of Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) members.
We’ve heard countless stories from participants over the years about what this symbolic medal means to them. Whether the medal represents a relative, keeps you connected to the CAF community or pushes you to “soldier on” in your own training, these stories help define our participant culture and make us No Ordinary Race.
We would love to hear your dog tag stories, and we invite you to share what our medal means to you here on this website.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
• Once submitted and reviewed by Canada Army Run staff, your story will be posted on this webpage
• You must share an image with your story, which will be publicly visible (must be a .jpeg or .png, max file size 2MB)
• You can let us know if you are interested in being interviewed to share your story on video. A select number of applicants will be contacted at a later date.
• Stories may be shared on our social media pages or in email newsletters, as we aim to inspire others to find new meaning behind Canada Army Run
