André St-Pierre proudly served 25 years with the Canadian Armed Forces and the Royal Canadian Air Force. He joined right out of school and went on to travel the world as a Traffic Technician and Loadmaster. Throughout his career, he was not only a dedicated service professional, but also a devoted husband and an awesome girl dad, navigating postings, deployments, travel, and the unique challenges of life as a service couple.
Moving across the country, Andy made friends everywhere he went and left his mark on the lives and hearts of so many along the way.
In retirement, he found his own little heaven on earth and embraced a quieter life centred around the people he loved most. He dedicated himself to his family and took on being Papou as though it were a full-time job and undoubtedly his favourite posting yet.
André, Andy, or Papou faced an incurable cancer with tremendous courage and fought valiantly until the end. He is deeply loved, profoundly missed, and will forever remain part of the lives of those fortunate enough to have known him.
