I am running the Army Run half-marathon for a Guinness World Record, “fastest half-marathon in a flight suit”. I will be wearing a full flight suit, a helmet and boots. The boots are authentic vintage leather WWII Corcoran jump boots. I need to finish in 2:17 or less. I have under 10 Guinness World records for running marathons and half-marathons in different costumes. I came up with this idea after recently re-watching the first Top Gun movie (1986). I have a YMCA membership (Toronto, College/Dovercourt) and do work run-commutes several times a week for training (10 km each way).
