Il a consacr\u00e9 sa vie non seulement au service pendant la guerre, mais aussi \u00e0 la lutte pour la reconnaissance des soldats du Commonwealth, en cofondant l&rsquo;Undivided Indian Ex-Servicemen&rsquo;s Association (Association des anciens combattants indiens non divis\u00e9s). Mon propre grand-p\u00e8re a \u00e9galement servi comme capitaine dans l&rsquo;arm\u00e9e, et leurs histoires me rappellent le courage, le sacrifice et la r\u00e9silience qui caract\u00e9risent notre famille.
