Victory Challenge

The Victory Challenge is an event within Canada Army Run where participants run or roll officially in BOTH the 5K event at 8:00 a.m, followed by the 10K at 8:45 a.m.).

Participants who register for the Victory Challenge will receive a unique bib and race shirt. In addition, upon completion of the Challenge, participants will receive a special coin as well as their individual distance dog tag medals.

We recommend that participants start in the first wave of the 5K at 08:00. After completing the 5K and collecting your dog tag, you may enter the 10K from any corral wave you wish. You will have one bib that will work for both events, and will receive a special prize at the end of the race!
** Participants MUST start no later than the last wave of the 10K to remain in the Challenge. Participants who do not return from running the 5K by the last wave of the 10K will be disqualified. ** Don’t see an answer to your question? Click here.

Below are answers to common questions about the Victory Challenge

  • Thank you for being part of the Victory Challenge! Participants will take on both the 5K and 10K courses in this unique event. Below are important details to ensure your day is as enjoyable and successful as possible:

    • You will receive ONE bib for both events. You have a unique bib that you must have on for both the 5K and 10K events.  You will receive a finish time under the same number for the 5K, 10K, and combined challenge.

    • Pre-Race – You will pick up your exclusive Victory Challenge shirt during Race Kit Pick-Up hours. Challenge participants do not receive the shirts for the individual distances.

    • YOU MUST START THE 10K BY THE TIME OF THE LAST WAVE. There are no exceptions to this. All participants must start each event during the official wave starts of the race.

    5K Start: 8:00 a.m.

    10K Start: 8:45 a.m.

    You may enter any corral at the Start Line. Use this to strategize your event, allowing for more time on course, or less time between distances.

    • You will receive your challenge coin after completing the 10K. This takes place on Booth Street, between the Finish and Start Lines. You MUST have your challenge coin tear-off strip on your bib to redeem.
