On-Site Green Team
Paper Cup Recycling
All cups along the course (180,000 of them!) will be picked up by volunteers and recycled.
No plastic here! We use table linen and real plates, glasses, cups and cutlery.
These bags make great lunch bags or carriers for small items.
Heat Sheet Recycling Bins
If you are doing the half marathon, help us recycle the foil heat sheet you receive at the finish line by placing it in one of the special bins designed for that purpose.
Waste Disposal Bins
Recycling bins will be located throughout the grounds at Ottawa City Hall and Confederation Park. Please help us by placing your paper, glass, and plastic in them!
Representatives from the Canadian Diabetes Association Clothesline program will be picking up any discarded clothing items left at the start line and recycling them through the Clothesline program.
Bike Valet Service
Velofix will be offering a supervised, complimentary bike parking service on the north side of Ottawa City Hall (near the entrance). Please plan to pick up your bike 10 minutes before closing time.
