Finish Line
Finish Line Volunteers will assist in controlling the Army Run finish line barriers, where they will ensure that spectators are not interfering with runners, and that those who are approved to enter the finish area have proper identification. They will also help direct the runners to the designated Chip Removal area, as well as helping them to remove their time chips. This may also include calling for medical assistance for injured participants. Volunteers will also assist in the distribution of the medals, coordinating each runner with the race they just completed. Volunteers can expect to be asked various questions about Army Run and also about Ottawa, and therefore should have knowledge about both. They should also be able to deal well with the public.
Finish Line Volunteers will be needed on September 19th, 2010 from approximately 6:30AM to 1:00PM. For more information about this position please contact:
