Our online Drill Instructors, John Stanton, Dr. Darrell Menard and Dick Hartnett, will get you ready for race day. There's no charge . All we ask is for your commitment to go the distance.
John Stanton
We will feature running tips from John Stanton, founder of the Running Room, to help you achieve your personal fitness goals; be it walking, running, or rolling.
Best-selling Canadian author of six books on running, and recently appointed a Member of the Order of Canada, John has also been featured as a guest on numerous radio and television programs across Canada and the United States.

Dr. DarrelL Menard
An internationally renowned sports medicine doctor, Dr. Menard has lectured around the world and has been published in the
American Journal of Sports Medicine and
Oxford Textbook of Sports Medicine. He's worked on medical staff at the IAAF World Track and Field Championships, World Military Games, Commonwealth Games, Paralympics, among others. He appeared in the 1983 movie "Running Brave" and he still holds the Canadian Forces record for the 1500m (3:49.6). Dr. Menard will give you tips on training smart, preventing injuries, eating right and being mentally tough to get the most out of your performance.
DICK HARTNETT
One of the best loved personalities in running, Dick Hartnett has coached Olympians and top military runners for the past 30 years. He's been the head coach of Canadian military cross-country running teams since 1989 and is a multiple winner of the military "Coach of the Year" award. He currently runs the fitness and sports program at CFB Gagetown. Dick's program for beginners and advanced runners is sure to make you "Army tough" and will get you to the finish line
