On-Site Green Team

Energetic members of the Ottawa Titans Water Polo team will be on hand race day to help keep the site clean and ensure recyclables end up in the right spot.

Paper Cup Recycling

All cups along the course (180,000 of them!) will be picked up by volunteers and recyicon-recycle-cupscled.

Pasta Dinner

Reusable Bags

Heat Sheet Recycling Bins

icon-recycleIf you are doing the half marathon, help us recycle the foil heat sheet you receive at the finish line by placing it in one of the special bins designed for that purpose.

Waste Disposal Bins

icon_recyclebinsRecycling bins will be located throughout the grounds at Ottawa City Hall and Confederation Park. Please help us by placing your paper, glass, and plastic in them!

Clothes Recycling

icon-recycle-clothesRepresentatives from the Canadian Diabetes Association Clothesline program will be picking up any discarded clothing items left at the start line and recycling them through the Clothesline program.

Bike Valet Service

Velofix will be offering a supervised, complimentary bike parking service on the north side of Ottawa City Hall (near the entrance). Please plan to pick up your bike 10 minutes before closing time.
